A freelance artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sarah has described that her earliest memories involve drawing and painting. She began to take art seriously in her teens, attending Perpich Center for Arts, a charter school in Minneapolis centered around the arts. Present day, Sarah is exploring what it means to be a full-time mother and artist, fully dedicating herself to both. She is active and established in the vibrant Minneapolis art community, with experience in both curation, as well as exhibiting her work at local galleries and shows.

Sarah finds inspiration in many places, from abstract expressionism, her local art community, or mother nature, her creative process is expansive. Her work is greatly influenced by the meditative state, and dwells on the simple poetics of life, of which is especially evidenced by her latest series, which explores floral references in a fluid, intuitive, and abstract way. Sarah’s work explores the immense potential art has, and aims to connect audiences to a deeper, more spiritual level.
