Camila Hojas (b 1993), is a creative soul and multi-disciplinary artist. Becoming fascinated with creating art at a young age, and continuing to casually experiment with photography and illustration in early adulthood, it was while getting a Master’s Degree in Marketing that Camila rediscovered her real passion for art. Shortly after, she enrolled in Parsons School of Design in New York City, and re-dedicated herself to creating. 

Writer at heart, Camila has described being inspired by literature and books, saying, “I love the aesthetic of books, especially old ones, the calligraphy, design,  illustrations, and ornaments… My work also draws inspiration from the art in those pages, architecture, fashion, and  characters depicted.” While her subject matter is inspired by Renaissance art and historic sites, her palette is representative of her inner child, who wants to live in a colorful world with bright colors and fun textures.  

Camila Hojas is an ever-evolving artist, she is an avid explorer and student of art. Her work has no real distinct style or theme as she is constantly drawing from several inspirations, styles, elements, to continue to create new, unexpected and inspiring work.
